A father-daughter duo visited our fourth-grade students during our second Career Day! Joe Rosick, of Rosick Drilling, allowed students to examine his truck and described how he repairs water pumps, drills wells, and digs holes for heating and cooling systems. Ashley Courcelle, Case Manager for the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, explained how she makes sure her clients receive the services, support, and counseling they need. Brother and sister Travis and Taylor Scarincio joined our fourth graders today for our first Career Day of the year! Miss Scarincio, a nurse in the cardiac cath lab at Glens Falls Hospital, discussed how she helps patients and the training required to pursue her career. Mr. Scarincio, a Realtor with Hunt Real Estate in Glens Falls and a second-year speaker, taught students basic information about homeownership and how a Realtor assists people in buying and selling houses. They both talked about what they love most about their jobs and encouraged students to continue learning and growing.

Our fourth graders took a trip to the Fort Ann Town Hall to learn more about local government. Students loved hearing about the different positions and how everyone works together to support our town. Thank you to Mrs. Herringshaw for organizing this!
