Mrs. Gadway’s fifth graders had the best time playing in the snow! ❄️ They built a fort with five tunnels, a slide, and three snowmen! ⛄️⛄️⛄️ It turned an ordinary day into a great winter adventure!

Calling all sweethearts! Get ready to put on your dancing shoes! ❤️💕💜

Due to the weather, all afternoon and evening activities at Fort Ann Central School have been canceled today, January 16, 2024. There will be no late buses.

Before the winter break Mrs. Irish’s students learned about holidays around the world. They learned about some traditional games played during Hanukkah. The students tried out the dreidel game and had a blast! 😃

❄️❄️ Students in Mrs Irish’s class enjoyed some fun in the snow on Tuesday after the snow storm! ❄️❄️

It was crazy sock/ slipper day today in Mrs. Irish’s room! Students were able to work all day in the classroom in their socks! 🧦😄

🔍 Lost and Found Alert! 🔍We have some misplaced treasures in our Lost and Found! 🧤👕 Check out the photos of lost items and drop by the elementary school to pick up, or have your student visit the cafeteria to reclaim their belongings. Let's make sure every item finds its way back home! 🏡

ALL AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ARE CANCELED, INCLUDING LATE BUSES, TODAY, JANUARY 9, DUE TO THE WEATHER.

📪 Mrs. Wood's class received a letter from a 4th-grade student in South Carolina asking them to join The Great Mail Race! The idea is for students from around the US to write to each other and learn about their school and town.
Our students each chose an elementary school in a different state to write to, asking them to join The Great Mail Race.
This project integrates writing, reading, and social studies map skills. Students will mark on a map when they receive a response from their letter to keep track of all the places they are learning about. They loved writing to students in other states and can’t wait to get mail back! 📨
